Obviously I see prices all year in thousands of locations, and I thought it was high. I even tried to get it lower but I couldn't.

What you could do is, you can always book the vehicle at the rental rate you see now and if you find a better deal, you can cancel online for free up to 24 hrs before the pick-up time/date
